Welcome to Pole Poetry
Pole Poetry was born at Valentyne, a soulmate’s hideaway on the Cornish shores where time stretches endlessly and the waves kiss the shoreline like the turning pages of a beloved book.
For many years my vocation was supporting disabled children and their families. Stepping away from that role I was devoted to raising my own family, cherishing every fleeting moment — only to blink and find my children grown, wings unfurling as they take flight on their own journey.
Now it is time for a new chapter. I discovered pole fitness at the age of 48 whilst searching for an alternative to the gym. Terrified and under the comfort blanket of clothing I attended my first class — and I have never looked back.
I encourage others to take their first step into the world of pole - the experience that first captivated me - a freeing, joyful way to move, grow strong and reconnect with the body.
Pole Poetry is the art of story telling through movement. Each spin and climb becomes a line in your unfolding verse. Along the way I have created thoughtful products to support your pole journey.
